This Giving Tuesday, SecureIT proudly reflects on a decade of generosity, community, and impact through the White Hat Gala, benefiting Children’s National Hospital. Now celebrating its 10th Anniversary, the Gala raised an extraordinary $2.2 million in 2025 with 850+ in attendance, bringing the total funds raised over the past decade to more than $6.5 million in support of lifesaving pediatric care and groundbreaking research.
SecureIT President and CEO David Trout served as Co-Chair of this year’s event, joining cybersecurity leaders, government partners, and technology innovators in uniting for a cause that extends far beyond our industry. The White Hat Gala continues to highlight the shared commitment of the cybersecurity community to not only protect digital infrastructure, but also to uplift the communities where we live and work.
As a firm dedicated to security, resilience, and trust, SecureIT recognizes that true protection extends beyond systems—it includes people. Supporting Children’s National aligns with our mission to foster strength, well-being, and opportunity across every community we touch. This milestone year serves as a reminder that leadership in cybersecurity also means leadership in compassion.
At SecureIT, giving back is core to who we are. We’re proud to champion causes that inspire hope, drive progress, and strengthen resilience—values that align with both our mission and our people. Through the SecureIT Charity Matching Program, employees are encouraged to amplify their personal impact by donating to causes close to their hearts. SecureIT matches up to $250 per employee per year for donations made to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations, helping double the power of every contribution.
Together, these efforts reflect SecureIT’s belief that meaningful change happens when compassion meets action. From co-chairing the White Hat Gala to empowering our employees through matched giving, we remain committed to supporting the people and organizations driving positive change every day.
This Giving Tuesday, we extend gratitude to our partners, peers, and team members who continue to make a difference—proving that when the cybersecurity community comes together, our impact reaches far beyond technology.
